Everybody wants him. From Baltimore to DC to New York, everybody has to get a piece of big Rex. And he’s loving every minute of it. Sure’ he’s not happy with being turned down for the Atlanta Falcons gig, but what defensive coordinator wouldn’t like to be romanced in newspapers all around the country?
Look at this picture. Doesn’t he have the look of somebody who should be calling your safety blitzes? With the Ravens, he’d have the comfort of turning loose a defense that should play with a new found freedom that will come with a solid offense under Cam Cameron. With the Redskins, it would be much of the same behind a young backfield and quickly developing quarterback. With the Jets? Well, who knows about the Jets.
You’d much rather see the guy leading Ray Lewis to one last good run at a Super Bowl, but you can’t be mad if he left; not after the way Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti practically tried to push him onto the Falcons, only to have a change of heart after hiring John Harbaugh. Bottom line, the Ravens should do all they can to bring sexy back to Baltimore.
