Should the Ravens Jump on the Lawsuit Train?

I don’t see why not; something good has to come from this season. They set the blueprint for how to beat the New England Patriots, and if anybody deserves some restitution for getting jobbed by cheaters, it should be the Baltimore Ravens.

Think about it. The Ravens played the inspired defense and steady passing game the ultimately propelled the New York Giants to Super Bowl victory.  Considering that Bill Belichick and the Patriots have been in the cheating biz for the better part of eight years, there’s nothing proving the Pats didn’t have extensive footage on the Ebony Birds from years past.

Besides, who else can you give the loot to in good conscience?  The Colts have one of the best QB’s in the league, the Ravens are hoping they can reconstruct Steve McNair. The Chargers had injuries that derailed their Super Bowl run, the Ravens had injuries that derailed an entire city.

Obviously, the lawsuit probably has as much chance in court as the Ravens have of Derrick Mason leading the NFL in receiving yards, but it’s nice to dream – especially when it’s at the expense of history’s most infamous dream team.
