We All Agree…No One Knows How the Baltimore Ravens Will Draft

Posted by: Zach

And that may just be a good thing. Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is a wizard on Draft day, and he might have the front office silent for very good reasons on who they will tab as a franchise cornerstone.

The Baltimore Sun is all over the place, trying desperately to analyze Ravens potential QB targets, Chris Long’s availability, and the case for picking Joe Flacco.

The Ravens draft prospects have not been a hot topic of discussion out of the front office, but just days away from the draft fans should know something, if for no other reason than making your custom jersey orders for the Fan Fest.

We aren’t expecting the savior of the franchise to walk through the door, but it would be helpful to know if it’s the doorway to the offensive or defensive meeting room.

If Matt Ryan is there at 8, the Ravens should make a trade with the Saints. Why? Well, the Saints are trying to move to get either Dorsey or Sedrick Ellis. Ellis is pretty good player, but the Ravens are pretty much loaded at the spot. They would only need depth. So trade down and get a couple of draft choices. You’ll still get your cornerback in Cromartie or Jenkins. I think it’s a good idea. Just my opinion.
