Ravens to Show Michael Phelps Race After Preseason Game
If you have tickets to tomorrow’s preseason home game against the Minnesota Vikings, hang around for a while after the final whistle; you just might see Michael Phelps win his eighth gold medal in Beijing. NBC has given the franchise permission to broadcast the Baltimore native’s 4×100 medley relay on stadium screens.
At the conclusion of the game, fans interested in watching the race will be directed to Section 140, located in the West end zone of the lower seating bowl. Team staff will be stationed there and will distribute posters with words of encouragement for Phelps. Fans will be asked to hold up the posters to salute to Phelps prior to the race.
The article goes on to mention that the posters will be distributed by the Baltimore Sun, but who cares about their shameless self-promotion.
