So it turns out that the Ravens weren’t crazy after all and have signed an older, much safer NFL journeyman in Todd Bouman. Good thing, because several of the downtown watering holes were planning ‘No Harrington’s Allowed’ campaigns in protest.
So who is Todd Bouman? He’s bounced around the league with stops in Minnesota, Green Bay, New Orleans, St. Louis and Jacksonville.
And that’s about it.
According to Wikipedia, Bouman started a game for an injured Daunte Culpepper and threw for more than 300 yards and four touchdowns. That’s perfect for the Ravens because to quarterback in Baltimore you only need to say you love crab cakes and promise really convincingly that you’ll try not to throw interceptions.
