Ravens-Titans Live Blog
The Titans: Totally Lame
So we got some trash talk help from Matt Jergensen from Ravens’ Gab. Thanks Matt. First, we head to wikipedia, where weird, over-sensitive Tennessee natives wrote the nicknames section: “Nashville is a colorful, well-known city in several different arenas. As such, it has earned various sobriquets” Second, their QB is Kerry Collins. Here are Kerry Collins’ stats from the 2001 Super Bowl game: 15/29 with 0 TD, 4 INT and had one pick returned to the house. Kyle Boller is better than that. And he has a girl’s name. Albert Haynesworth has an anger problem. Most of you should probably [...]
Titans Game Coverage on The EB
On this blog, there will be a live blog during the game, and I’ve been in contact with the guys from Titan Sized, and it looks like we’ll be hosting the live blog with some Titans fan, to get a rivalry going. You should visit the Titan Sized blog, where they’re doing some serious Baltimore trashing, and just wait, we’ll have some trashing of our own. Comment this article or email me or whatever with whatever dirt on Nashville, Tennessee or the Titans or any of their players you’ve got. If you contribute, it should be awesome. Some future posts [...]
A Word of Advice……..George Kokinis
Mr. Kokinis, I know that your roots in NFL Personnel and such started in Cleveland, but for the sake of the fans, the team and yourself, don’t accept the Browns’ offer of GM. Brady Quinn is their starting quarterback. Need I say more? Your birthday is February 27th, 1967. You’re 40 years old, act like it and please, please make the right decision. Is it because the Browns sign all your former Ravens when they’re old and washed up for millions of dollars more than any other team would, and you want to fix that? That may be a good [...]
What A Game
I didn’t even watch the game on TV, just listened on the radio, but looking through my DVR Recording, how great was this game? Chad Pennington turned the ball over 5 times, more than half of his total turnovers during the season, and after the game he said he felt good about 3 of those 4 passes that were intercepted. Incredible ball-hawking ability by the secondary made this an easy win. All of my predictions were totally wrong, except for the INT return for a TD, but the wrong person. Just shows how unpredictable, but great, the Ravens can be. [...]
Ravens vs. Dolphins Live Blog
Ravens vs Dolphins Wild Card Preview
Playoff Scenarios If the Ravens win, they would obviously play the top remaining seed, the Titans. If the Dolphins win, they would face the Steelers, being the #3 Seed and the Chargers being the #4 seed, they would play Tennessee. GameBreakers Dolphins: The Ravens obviously need to look out for Ronnie Brown, the ‘Fins stud running back, but they also need to keep an eye on the emerging recieving threats for the Dolphins, as Ted Ginn Jr. will probably be the fastest player on the field, and Greg Camarillo, well, we know him. Chad Pennington has thrown for 3,600 yards [...]
The Dolphins (pssh)
First, an announcement: I can’t do the live blog for the first playoff game, as I have to attend a funeral service, but Jarrett might cover. Now to the game. The Ravens downed the Dolphins in week 7, 27-13 in Miami, but the Purple Birds will meet a totally different team on Wild Card weekend. Chad Pennington has been named NFL Comeback Player of the Year, and rightly so. He’s revived his career in Miami, and stud workhorse Ronnie Brown has taken loads of pressure off the former Jets QB. A new threat for the ‘Fins is Ricky Williams, who [...]
