i, still would not take a wr in the first round. i don't think the impact that a wr has in their first 2 years in the league warrant a first round pick. very, very few wrs hit on their first year in the league. it is a position that takes time to develop. the first 2 rounds, this day and age, requires the impact, imeidiate starter. better suited for a D-player, rb, or franchise qb that you can afford to let set and learn, MAYBE? but not a wr. history proves that this theroey might be right?

hey chauncey, or henry, or hank for that matter. i said don't take a wr in the first round, yes. i said you guys should'nt waste your first round pick on a wr. i said that it usually takes 3 years for one to develop a nfl wr, so you can find good talent at the position in later rounds. taking one in the first is usually a waste? you guys will need D help with the free agents you'll potentially will loose? make sense now? what i meant was that with crabtree available with the #3 pick, that no way does KC let him go by with haley as their new coach. he will want an offense similar to what he had in arizona? i'm not saying that i think it is right, i just said taking one in the first is not what i believe is right. but that does'nt mean a coach like haley agrees with me? this is my opinion on what i believe KC does, and what you guys should do? sorry for the mix up.

Hey davedallass fan, the name is Henry not Chauncy. And you are telling me not to waste a pick on a WR, an then turn around and tell someone else KC should not let a WR get by them. Make up your mind. Besides once Davis and Jenkins are gone, there is a big drop off. If the Ravens have a chance at Britt, Nicks, or Bey, they need to grab one of them. This is the piece that has been missing from their offense for many years now. Marcus Smith is still a project. D. Williams can't seem to stay on the field, always hurt. I think Mickens will be available in rd. 2. Plus, the Ravens just signed Foxworth.

Cheifs will take Crabtree. With Todd Haley as the new coach, he has a chance to draft the next Larry Fitz and create a great tandom with Bowe and Craptree.

That KC pick at #3 should be interesting, and it will definitely change after the pre-draft workouts and the combine. I think that Crabtree could go as high as #2 to St. Louis (if they go insane) or as low as the picks 10-15 range. We'll see

I UNDERSTAND YOUR THERORY ABOUT STAFFORD FALLING, ???? WHO KNOWS ABOUT IT.....NO ONE REALLY NEEDS A QB IN THE TOP 5-6.......BUT NO WAY DOES CRABTREE GET BY KC WITH HALEY AS THEIR NEW COACH. IF HE COULD PAIR HIM WITH BOWE AND BOOST FOR THIGPEN, AND TALK LARRY J. INTO STAYIN????? I SEE HIM TAKIN CRABTREE AT 3

I'd love to see Stafford fall to us...but, I'd be amazed if that happened. If not, I expect Singletary to get his top pass rusher, which would be either Brown or Orakpo. If Raji was still around, he could also be the pick.

hey chauncy gardner, don't waste your d picks on wrs.....it ain't worth it.....not in the first round. first round should always be for that impact rb or qb or any D positions available. thats how you build a winner D first. you guys will need to keep replacing them now. you can get wrs in the third round or later and the talent will be the same as a projected first round, because it takes roughly 3 years for a wr to fully develop for nfl play.

Adam,
<div>If you had the chance to take Oher, wouldn't you. My thinking behind that was that if a great blocker like that falls to you, you should take him</div>
