Those of you who want a #1 reciever this offseason might just get it. Though it might have to be from a division rival. Hue Jackson, the Ravens’ QB coach who interviewed for multiple O-Coordinator jobs this offseason, spent the majority of his NFL coaching career as a WR coach for the Bengals. He was the WR coach while T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson were one of the best 1-2 tandems in the league.
With TJH as a free agent, and the Bengals looking to trade Ocho Stinko, the Bengals first thought could be Jackson and the Ravens. Jackson, knowing their strengths and weaknesses, would have some leverage in negotiations. There is a solid chance that this could happen, and it’s already been floating around in some NFL circles. With Jackson not being hired by any team, the main part in what could be a huge move is still around. Cross your fingers
