According to the B-More Sun, the Ravens have been talking to the Cardinals about acquiring the team’s star receiver, Anquan Boldin.  According to this story, the Cardinals would demand a 1st and 3rd round pick to make the trade possible.  Boldin has 2 years left on his contract, worth about $6M a year, but would demand a new, much more inflated contract once getting to a new team.  He is only 28, and is in the prime of his career.   Boldin, if you’re not aware with his play on the field, Boldin has been to 3 Pro Bowls (’03, ’06, [...]

Demetrius Williams and Quinn Sypniewski both resigned with the team today.  If Brandon Pettigrew falls to the Ravens at #26, it is now highly unlikely that he will be the selection. Check out the new mock draft, if you haven’t yet.

According to ESPN, the Billls are shopping speedster WR Roscoe Parrish.  The Miami product is a versatile player who can be a big asset in the return game.  If the Ravens aren’t so high on Yamon Figurs anymore based on his returning woes, Parrish could be a good draft day pick-up.

Right now, we’re just waiting for the draft to start and there’s so much to figure out picking so low at #26. It’s that time with no news, but a couple weeks before news, analysis and criticism galore. So the posting on here could be a little slow, but watch out, because during draft week, and after it, there are going to be more posts than you can imagine. And what’s up with this 17-year old at the Masters? He’s tied with Lefty and Sergio, and he’s 17. I don’t watch golf, by the way, just reading the ESPN bottomline
