I see that you're on his bandwagon, but in the NFL, Smith's seemed kind of anxious and nervous every time he's been on the field, not great leadership qualities. If he does in fact get traded, it'll hurt, but I don't quite agree with the extent of your opinion.

I agree it will definitely hurt the Ravens next season. Troy Smith is an undiscovered jewel as a QB. Not only does he pass accurately, has a strong arm (threw 75 yards taking one step in QB challenge), mobile when he needs to be -- he is a leader. Leadership is one of the greatest intangibles that a QB needs. If you look at his life, even his OSU career, he didn't go to OSU as a starting QB; he worked hard and earned it. Tressel and crew found out that he was the best QB they had. Troy ended up being the best QB OSU ever had. He received the last scholarship to play for them, starting out on special teams and ends up being a Heisman trophy winner. Whenever someone has come from insurmountable odds like that, that strength that he gained from it will most likely carry him over to propelling him as a future top-ranked QB in the NFL.
