Heap X-Rays Negative, Flacco Ties Record

Two quick stories for today’s post.  Todd Heap, who took a very hard hit in the win yesterday trying to catch an errant pass from Joe Flacco, had x-rays taken on his back.  They were negative. As of right now, we could say his status for Sunday is questionable, but more information will be released in the next few days.  The team needs all the help it can get, so hopefully he’ll be in good playing condition.

Secondly, Jamison Hensley discovered an interesting tidbit of playoff knowledge in terms of Joe Flacco’s performance.  It appears that he tied the legendary Bob Griese for fewest passing yards in a playoff win with 34.  Not an awesome performance by any means from Joe Cool, but when all you need to do is let the defense do their work and hand the ball off to a truly epic two-headed monster, it passes. Yes, that pun was fully intended, even if you missed it.  More on the Colts and Heap’s status as the week goes on.
