The Ravens have signed former Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Cory Redding to a two year deal.

Redding spent last season in Seattle, after playing 6 seasons in Detroit. He is 29 years old.
A former University of Texas standout, Redding’s 6-foot-4 292 pound frame makes him an ideal 5 technique defensive tackle. He would fill a huge hole left by the departure of Justin Bannan to Denver and Dwan Edwards to Buffalo.
While Redding is a possible starter at DE next season, look for the Ravens to continue to replenish the defensive line rotation through April’s draft.
