The 2010 MLB Draft Is Tonight

Hello all,

Tonight, as many of you may know, is the MLB Draft. Being a huge baseball fan, this is a great night for me, as I get to witness amateur players that I know get drafted and we get to see how the futures of our favorite teams look. Because of my burning passion, I’ll be joining the gang at Call To The Pen, FanSided’s MLB site, for their live coverage.

Click here to go directly to the coverage, and browse around the site while you’re there, it’s a great site that is just getting better.  Their coverage will start at around 6:15 EST, and I’ll be joining up at around 7, which is when the 1st round officially starts. There are some intriguing storylines in the 1st round, specifically superhuman Bryce Harper, the Orioles’ #3 pick, which is still up in the air, and the intrigue of knowing where several of the top stars in college baseball will end up.

Last year I covered the Draft intensely over its three-day entirety for Birds Watcher, FanSided’s Orioles blog. While I’m not going to go into that much detail this season, I love the Draft, and I would love it if you stopped by and said a quick hello, even if the Draft isn’t really your thing.

Stay tuned, because later tonight I’ll have a nice post up with some Ravens news and some upcoming site news.
