Quarterback Marc Bulger was the Baltimore Ravens’ backup last year and is now currently a free agent. Though the Ravens would love to keep him, the addition of Virginia Tech’s Tyrod Taylor does not warrant him staying. There have been rumors of Bulger going to the Arizona Cardinals to try and restart his career, similar to the way Kurt Warner did (also a former St. Louis Ram.) While the Cardinals have not been completely ruled out, Arizona has been looking in to Philadelphia Eagles‘ backup Kevin Kolb and seem to be very interested.
Other possible candidates to land Bulger include the Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Miami Dolphins. If he decides to stay with the Ravens, his veteran presence may help the young Joe Flacco and Tyrod Taylor develope into productive, franchise quarterbacks. Bulger has stated that he would love to rejoin the Ravens if they would like him to come back.
