LaMarr Woodley of the Pittsburgh Steelers made a list of the top ten linebackers in the NFL. He also made it pretty clear that he’s a homer and has no idea what he is talking about. He’s a great linebacker, I’ll give him that, but don’t make a complete fool out of yourself on live television.
Making a top linebacker list should be serious, not provide a chance to give a shout out to your fellow Steelers’ brethren. Five of the supposed top ten were Steelers’ linebackers. Only two (maybe three) of them deserve to be on this list. He gave the nod to David Harris of the Jets but Bart Scott was nowhere to be seen. DeMarcus Ware, Jon Beason, Jon Vilma, and Terrell Suggs were also absent but the great steroid using Brian Cushing made the list. I mean, he definitely deserved to be on there considering he racked up an insurmountable two sacks last year. Come on LaMarr! Why did NFL Network even air this? Is this really what we have to watch during a lockout? Just because there’s no news to talk about doesn’t mean we have to sit through this garbage everyday. I’d rather watch reruns of Sound FX.
