Can Joe Flacco Win The Big One?

The ongoing feud between Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley has received a lot of attention this offseason. Looking to answer the question once and for all, Rich Eisen, Jacksonville Jaguars Linebacker Kirk Morrison, and former NFL linebacker Willie McGinest sat down to discuss the issue.

If I was LaMarr Woodley, I would have answered the question in the same way. What is he supppose to say? “I think out biggest rival will beat us and win the Superbowl.” The whole discussion is a pointless one brought about during an NFL Lockout where there is not much to talk about. It didn’t need to be said but Woodley was put on the spot and responded in a way that he saw fit.

It’s no secret that Joe Flacco has trouble overcoming the Pittsburgh Steelers (Ben Roethlisberger in particular.) We all know that he has the tools in a solid offensive line, a versatile running back in Ray Rice, a multifaceted receiving corp, and defensive support. He knows what it takes to get there and has plenty of playoff experience. Joe Flacco needs all the tumblers click into place right at the start of the playoffs so he can carry that momentum straight into the Superbowl. In my honest opinion, it’s only a matter of time until Ray Lewis and company hoist the Lombardi Trophy through the streets of Baltimore.
