NFL Players And Owners Move Closer To Deal

It’s been a crazy week in the National Football League but it seems that we are finally near a deal. NFL.com reports that both sides made great progress today and that it is very possible to have the league year start on Wednesday. All of the economics have been worked out and now it all comes down to a few remaining legal issues as well as the NFLPA’s recertification as a union. Luckily, some of the bad blood between players and owners on Thursday has subsided and both groups are now working together to get a deal done. The players are expected to vote on Tuesday which would allow the league year to start Wednesday with training camps opening Friday. It’s been a hectic situation but keep checking in with EbonyBird as we will straighten you out.
