Le'Ron McClain Signs With The Kansas City Chiefs

Le’Ron McClain has signed a one year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Le’Ron was Baltimore’s premiere runner in 2008 racking up over 900 yards but has been used primarily as a fullback ever since Ray Rice has come into his own. He has been wanting more carries for quite some time and he hopes to get more in Kansas City.

There were plenty of rumors floating around and all signs pointed towards KC as a likely landing spot for Le’Ron. Many people were suspicious when Le’Ron started following two Chiefs P.R. reporters on Twitter.

Luckily for the Ravens, they just signed former Texans fullback Vonta Leach to fill in for the void left by McClain. Though the void is a big one, Vonta is one of, if not the best, fullback in the league and should have no problem taking over his fullback duties.
