Reports of Marc Bulger’s retirement circulated for the past week until Marc offically announced it on Tuesday. Bulger served as the Ravens backup last year but never had to take a snap.
Bulger received several offers from different NFL teams but decided that retiring would be the best for him as he wasn’t interested in serving as a backup. Bulger was best known for his tenure with the St. Louis Rams where he earned two probowls. However, the lacking offensive line of the Rams gave Bulger little protection and he lost the drive to continue playing.
