Tony Moll signs with Jacksonville

Ravens unrestricted free agent OT Tony Moll has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Moll played in 21 games over the two years he spent with the Ravens, according to Profootballreference.com.  He began his career with the Green Bay Packers before coming to Baltimore in a trade before the 2009 season.  While not a major contributor Moll did provide depth for the line, playing multiple positions during his time here.  Over the course of his career Moll has played in 60 games.  His 21 starts have come at right tackle(12), right guard(7), and tight-end(2).  With an already hurting and depth-deprived offensive line, losing another offensive lineman is not going to help.  I do believe we have some young guys ready to step up but experience was surely needed on the line.

I’ll be interested to see what rookie and/or free agent the Ravens bring in to add depth to the line, if they bring anyone in at all.  Let’s discuss everyone’s thoughts on the O-line; leave comments below!
