Ravens sign Bryant McKinnie

The Ravens have signed tackle Bryant McKinnie.  Terms of the deal are unknown at the time.

This could signal that the Ravens are not comfortable with starting Jah Reid at RT or they want to put pressure on Oher to step up and play better.

McKinnie is a 10 year veteran who was cut by the Vikings after showing up to camp 50 lbs overweight.  His agent, Drew Rosenhaus had sent a mass email to teams offering McKinnie’s services for $2.5 million on a one year deal with reasonable incentives.  It will be interesting to find out what the Ravens paid to bring in the soon to be 32 year old tackle.  He will reunite with Matt Birk on the offensive line.
