Finally! We’ve seen close games and wins against the Steelers since Harbaugh has taken over in Baltimore; however, it always seems like he is out-coached by Mike Tomlin.
Today was a different story. I thought the extra point fake for a two-point conversion was a great play. It was the statement the Ravens needed to make that they weren’t taking shit from the Steelers. I also loved the call he made on 4th and 1 around the Steelers 20. He put the offense back on the field and went for it, with a check down pass from Flacco to Vonta Leach. That was one good play the Steelers D made in stopping it and getting a turn over on downs. But it was aggressive and I loved the call.
Finally, the challenge. The Ravens had a pretty hearty lead but Roethlisberger threw to Moore who was then tackled and dropped the ball, which was recovered by Pernell McPhee. The ref ruled Moore down before the ball came out, saying it wasn’t a fumble. After the play was replayed immediately on the Jumbo Tron, Harbaugh threw that red flag and got the play overturned, killing basically any hope for the Steelers.
