The Houston Texans have decisively beaten the Cincinnati Bengals and will now pack their bags to head to Baltimore for the divisonal round. Because the Texans are the highest seed in the wildcard round, the Ravens automatically face them next week.
As happy as the Texans are right now for winning their first playoff game in franchise history, the celebration will be short lived as they must enter M&T Bank stadium next week where over 70,000 screaming fans will make it awfully tough for them to execute.
This will be the second time the Ravens have faced the Texans this season, both at home. However, the game film from that game won’t be as useful to the Ravens as many changes have occurred since they first met. The Texans have been through two quarterbacks and now rely on rookie fifth round pick T.J. Yates. Also, Andre Johnson will be on the field as his hamstring injury has finally healed. It’s sure to be a great game as Baltimore gets their first home playoff game in five years.
