Cal Ripken Jr. To Be Baltimore Ravens Captain In AFC Championship Game

Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. will be the Baltimore Ravens honorary team captain when they take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Ripken was also the Ravens honorary captain when they played the Patriots in the AFC Wildcard game in 2009, a game the Ravens won 33-14. Cal will be with the players on the field for the coin flip.

The Ravens will need every advantage they can get in this game and having one of Baltimore’s biggest heros with them on the sideline might help.
