Joe Flacco And Baltimore Ravens Set To Begin Contract Negotiations

Next week, the Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco’s agent are scheduled to begin talks on a contract extension for Joe Flacco. Flacco’s rookie contract is set to expire at the end of the 2012 season and there are many questions surrounding how much money the quarterback deserves to earn. Flacco took the Ravens to the AFC Championship and was a catch away from going to the Super Bowl.

Expect Joe Flacco’s new contract to have around $30 million to $35 million in guaranteed money which is between the second tier and elite quarterbacks. This seems to be where Flacco falls as he has still not won a Super Bowl yet shown great promise and has had a lot of success in his first four seasons. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out within the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for more info regarding Joe Flacco’s contract negotiations and all other Ravens news.
