While it’s been a very quiet start of free agency for the Baltimore Ravens thus far, they’ve made their first moves today by signing re-signing special teams ace Brendon Ayanbadejo and adding defensive backs Corey Graham and Sean Considine. Additionally, they re-signed starting linebacker Jameel McClain.
Signing Brendon Ayanbadejo, Corey Graham, and Sean Considine shows that the Ravens are looking to improve their special teams play. Ayanbadejo is the leader of the Ravens special teams and holds the unit together. He holds his hat on special teams and wants to make sure the younger players knows how important it is.
Corey Graham was the Bears version of Brendon Ayanbadejo and earned a pro-bowl last year for his special teams production. Adding him to the squad brings more leadership and depth which will hopefully create a solid foundation for the unit to build from.
Sean Considine served under John Harbaugh when he was the special teams coach in Philadelphia. Since then, he’s played for five other teams but has remained a solid contributor. He’ll help the Ravens improve their kick coverage.
