Ravens Need To Sign Flacco And Rice Long Term To Free Up Cap Space

At Monday’s owner meeting, Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti expressed the need to sing QB Joe Flacco and RB Ray Rice long term in order to free up cap space. Freeing up cap space will give the Ravens more money to spend in free agency. Right now, the Ravens have very little cap space after signing four free agents last week.

While the Baltimore Ravens are still a very complete team, there still are some holes that need to be addressed (left guard and wide receiver come to mind). While the draft may solve some of these problems, it may be wiser for the Ravens to get experienced veterans to fill key spots as their experience is invaluable.
