The Baltimore Ravens and running back Ray Rice are still talking but the sides have not made any progress toward a new deal. The deadline for getting a new deal together is July 16. If a deal is not done by then, he will play under the $7.7 million franchise tag.
Ray Rice has a lot of room to argue consider he’s one of the most versatile backs in the league. Rice is probably leaning towards a Chris Johnson deal, which included $30 million guaranteed, while the Ravens see his deal closer to Arian Fosters, which was about $21 million guaranteed.
