Vonta Leach Ranked 45th Best Player In NFL

Baltimore Ravens fullback Vonta Leach was ranked as the 45th best player on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2012. The rankings are determined exclusively by the players of the NFL. Last year with the Houston Texans, Leach helped lead Arian Foster to the rushing title before being plucked by the Ravens during free agency. Leach paved the way for Ray Rice as he rushed for almost 1,400 yards, which was good enough for second best in the league behind Maurice Jones-Drew.

The Eagles, 49ers, and Ravens are tied for the most players on the countdown with seven. QB Joe Flacco is the only other Raven to make the list so far, coming in at No. 74. While I’m no Nostradamus, I’m assuming that the remaining five are Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Ray Rice in no particular order. It will be interesting to see where the rest of the Ravens fall as both Ed Reed and Ray Lewis made the top 5 last year at #5 and #4 respectively.
