LB Problems for the Ravens?

This guest post was made by the SeatCrunch team.

In April, the Baltimore Ravens suffered a tough loss when their star OLB Terrell Suggs partially tore his Achilles. Although it is likely that Suggs will be able to play in 2012, this injury is still concerning, as Suggs recorded 70 tackles and 2 picks in 2011.

Now it appears there is more unfortunate news for the Ravens linebackers. On Thursday, Mike McAdoo tore his Achilles as well, and unlike Suggs, will miss the entire 2012 season. McAdoo was Suggs’ backup, and was expected to fill in while Suggs was on the sideline. One could argue that the loss of McAdoo is even more difficult than the loss of Suggs.

Apparently McAdoo has a knack for being injured. Last year he was sidelined for the entire season due to a knee injury.
