Baltimore Ravens Release K Billy Cundiff

August 17, 2012; Baltimore, MD, USA; Baltimore Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff makes a first half field goal during their preseason game against the Detroit Lions

The Baltimore Ravens have released kicker Billy Cundiff, giving undrafted rookie Justin Tucker the Ravens’ kicking job in 2012. Cundiff missed the tying field goal last season during the AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots. It seems that he was unable to recover from this as he continued to struggle during training camp.

Cundiff was a pro-bowler in 2010 after tying the record for most touchbacks in a single season with 40.
