Baltimore Ravens tackle Bryant McKinnie has agreed to restructure his contract. The Baltimore Sun reported that McKinnie was set to make $3.2 million in base salary this season as the Ravens asked him to take a 50-percent cut. Bryan McKinnie didn’t want to go that low so the two parties settled on a $2.2 million contract with incentives that could get McKinnie back to his original $3.2 million.
It’s been an interesting few months for McKinnie as there were so many questions regarding his motivation to play this year. After showing up late for camp, McKinnie got right back to work and is the favorite to start at left tackle during week one. The other option would be moving Michael Oher from right to left and plugging in rookie Kelechi Osemele at right.
