The bye week has came and went; so too has the criticim of the Baltimore Ravens.  After their horrendous loss to the Houston Texans in week 7, they now hope to regroup this week in Cleveland.  The Ravens start the second half of their season Sunday versus the Browns with something to prove.

Injuries and poor play have turned the once proud Ravens defense into one of the worst in the NFL.  The defense has allowed 552 yards rushing in the last three games combined.  Opposing running backs who once feared facing the Ravens are now chomping at the bit to play against them.

The bye week came at a good time for Baltimore, as many needed the week off to get healthier (no one in the NFL is 100% healthy at week 8 of the season).  Haloti Ngata’s knee is much better and Terrell Suggs is a week stronger.  They will both be a big part of the Ravens defense this week and for the remainder of the second half.
