Despite Rumors swirling about the Ravens being sellers at the deadline, the team declined to make any moves. In fact, every team declined to make moves. Aside from one low level trade, the NFL was silent on the final week for trades. Many expected the NFL to become a traders league when the deadline was moved back, but the change in date of the deadline has produced little or no change league wide.
The only significant trade rumors involving the Ravens centered around Bryant McKinnie. Supposedly several teams were interested, but either the Ravens said no, or the other teams weren’t willing to match the Ravens asking price. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least to find out the Ravens simply said no. McKinnie might be firmly stuck as a backup, but if the Ravens were to lose Osemele or Oher for any length of time, the offensive line would be in desperate need of a player like McKinnie.
