Say what you want about these 2012 Baltimore Ravens, but they get the job done. Whether it’s ‘pummeling’ the Oakland Raiders 55-20 or ’eeking’ out a 13-10 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, they get the “W” more times than not. The Ravens are 8-2, and have a two game lead over the Steelers in the AFC North. They control their own destiny as they are now 4-0 within their division.
The Ravens now travel to San Diego to face the Chargers on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers have always been a thorn in the Ravens’ side as they always play the Ravens tough (especially in San Diego). The Ravens will have to play the game without S-Ed Reed, who was suspended for one game by the NFL for a head-to-head hit in the Steelers game.
The Ravens can assure that the Steelers will NOT win the AFC North division with a head to head win against them in week 13 and a Ravens win (against the Chargers this week) coupled with a Steelers loss this week against the Cleveland Browns). The Browns are playing much better, and with Charlie Batch starting this week….anything is possible. Let’s keep our fingers crossed Ravens fans!
