John Harbaugh has coached 11 games in which he has had more than 5 days of preparation time to design a game plan to win. he is undefeated in those games. Perfect 11-0. Here is his record.
2008 opener- 17-10 Bengals
2008 after bye- 28-21 Cleveland
2009 opener- 38-24 Kansas City
2009 after bye- 30-7 Denver
2010 opener- 10-9 Jets
2010 after bye- 26-10 Miami
2011 opener- 35-7 Pittsburgh
2011 after bye- 29-14 Houston
2011 after playoff bye- 13-20 Houston
2012 opener- 44-13 Bengals
2012 after bye- 25-15 Cleveland
as you can see, most of those games werent even close, including the ones against good competition(Houston, Pittsburgh, Cincy etc.). That isnt to say that the Ravens will handle the 49ers easily or anything like that. It just means that Harbaugh and his staff do an exceptional job of putting together a game plan and making sure all of the players are as well prepared as they possibly can be. Harbaugh specializes in making sure players are put in the best positions to succeed.
I Expect the Ravens to win the game this week. And this is one major reason why.
