Since early in the playoffs started, there have been rumblings in Baltimore that Anquan Boldin is a likely target to be cut to save cap room. Much of that talk has died down after Boldins incredible playoff run, but it is still floating around. Boldin pretty much has put an end to that.

in an interview with NBCsports Boldin said

"“For me that’s not something that I worry about,” Boldin said.  “I think you go out and let your play speak for itself.  You deal with that if you have to, but, I think for me — I know for me — Baltimore is the only place I want to play.  It’s the last place that I will play.  For me, I’ll retire a Raven, I’m not putting on any other uniform.”"

Boldin was one of my 2 or 3 favorite players in the league long before he became a Raven and he remains very very high on my list so this is awesome news to me. I would have hated to see Boldin play anywhere else.

Boldin clearly wants to be in baltimore and that likely means he would be more open to restructure his contract or to sign a new one completely that would be much more cap friendly to the team. In my mind this makes the Ravens chances of keeping Boldin go from about 55% up to somewhere around 80%.
