September 9, 2011; Louisville, KY, USA; Florida International Panthers head coach Mario Cristobal celebrates with saftey Jonathan Cyprien (7) after playing the Louisville Cardinals in Papa John

Its time to dust off an old classic, The Ravens most wanted list. Long time readers might remember this from the past 2 years. basically this is a list of what i think are the Ravens top five targets in the first and second rounds. We start at 5th target in the 2nd round and work our way all the way down to the number 1 first round target. Lets get it going!

Coming In at number 3 is one of my favorite guys in the draft, Safety out of FIU, Jonathan Cyprien.

Cyprien found his way into the first round thanks in part to a monster draft season which started at the Senior Bowl where he looked like the best player on the field on a routine basis and drew rave reviews from coaches. Cyprien started to rise and never looked back.

He first came on my radar last season while watching FIU play Louisville. He made an interception in that game that was litterally jaw dropping. If you havent seen it, check it out. he comes from about 40 yards across the field to cut off a throw by Teddy Bridgewater and dragged his toes as he fell out of bounds to complete the play. I’ve only ever seen one player routinely make plays like that, and he spent his last 10 years in Baltimore.

Cyprien has that kind of potential.

The Ravens might not have a shot at Cyprien depending on who the board falls, but he would be worth trading up a few spots to go get. Cyprien would likely start immediately at strong safety, but he could transition to free safety long term.

Here Is the Rest of the Ravens most wanted. You can also check out the ebonybird.com draft page for more on the draft prospects.
