Ravens Most Wanted: #2 Manti Teo

Its time to dust off an old classic, The Ravens most wanted list. Long time readers might remember this from the past 2 years. basically this is a list of what i think are the Ravens top five targets in the first and second rounds. We start at 5th target in the 2nd round and work our way all the way down to the number 1 first round target. Lets get it going!

Today We Look at perhaps the most controversial player in the draft. Manti Teo, Linebacker, Notre Dame.

Manti Teo may not be the fan favorite right now, but he is a darn good player and he will be drafted in the first round.

There has been some buzz that the Vikings are interested in leaping up the board to go after a top 10 player, if they do that, then there is a decent chance Teo makes it past them and falls to the Ravens. If he does, It is hard to imagine the Ravens not snapping him up.

Teo is an ultra instinctive linebacker who, while not the best athlete, always seems to find ways to be around the ball and in position to make plays. There is something to be said for that.

Teo has good size and he plays much faster than he times(he plays like a 4.5-4.6 guy all day long). After a great college career, he has established himself as a firm first round prospect and he will be a productive pro. Ozzie Newsome doesn’t generally try for home runs in the draft, he is more than happy to hit a double with his first round pick. Teo may never be Ray Lewis, but he has a high floor and will be a solid player for years to come.

Number one on our list will be revealed tonight at 7, just before the start of the draft!
