One of the Ravens most important X factors has to be Lardarius Webb. Webb is arguably one of the top 3 corners in the league and in fact his stats match up favorably to Darrell Revis’ numbers. That said, Webb missed over half of last season with a torn ACL, the second of his career and there is a big question as to whether or not he will be healthy to start this season.

There has been some good news coming from Ravens camp in that Webb is expected to be 100% full go for training camp. Even if Webb isnt 100%, this is good news, it means he is close. Players almost always have some time early in the year where they have to adjust to their repaired knee, but if Webb is close to being healthy at the start of camp, then he could be back to his full form by week 6 or 7, maybe even earlier.

This is huge for the Ravens secondary which will be a little thin behind Webb, Corey Graham and Jimmy Smith. They need all three guys to be healthy so they dont have to rely on Chykie Brown of Asa Jackson to start, both guys have potential, but neither is ready to start.

The Ravens could certainly use Webb in the lineup week one, for the sounds of it, they might have him.
