While it may not be the biggest move, claiming safety Jeromy Miles off waivers on Monday, may be a necessary move by the Ravens.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Miles was claimed by the Ravens after the Bengals waived him and placed him on waivers Saturday morning.

Miles was an undrafted rookie out of the University of Massachusetts. Since then, he has been with the Bengals for the past four years.

Miles is a safety, but the primary reason to why he has been in the league for the past four years is because his ability to play special teams.
