It’s starting to look like Ray Rice will be good to go for today’s game against the Bills, despite officially being labeled as questionable.
If Rice does, in fact, play in today’s game against the Bills, then you should probably start him.
Rice will be going against a Bills defense, who has struggled against the run all season. They rank 30th in the league in rushing yards allowed with an average of 155 yards per game.
Before this weeks game against the Ravens, the Bills allowed an unproven running back, like Bilal Powell, to rush for 149 yards in last weeks game against the Jets.
Even before last weeks game, the Bills allowed 158 total rushing yards from the New England Patriots in week one, and 125 total rushing yards from the Carolina Panthers in week two.
Simply, the past three weeks for Rice have been the worst three weeks of his career. If anytime is a perfect time for him to set his foot in the ground and breakout, it would be against the Bills this afternoon.
