With Michael Oher going back to his home state, where will the Ravens and John Harbaugh turn to replace him? Ricky Wagner is the first name that comes to mind. He started two games in his rookie season and being so young, Wagner should get the first crack at the spot. The right tackle position doesn’t need to be an elite level talent but not having a good once can cause issues for a flat footed quarterback.

Signing a free agent tackle doesn’t seem very likely. While they do have the room, the cap space may being held for the nfl draft or if the right player fell into their lap. Looking at the remaining free agent tackles, not one I would pound the table to get.

Donald Penn
Zach Strief
Charles Brown
David Stewart
Bryant McKinnie
Ryan Harris
Eric Winston
Jason Fox
Will Svitek
J’Marcus Webb
Tyson Clabo
Mike Otto
Sean Locklear
Tony Pashos
Marshall Newhouse
Jeremy Trueblood
Eben Britton
Dennis Roland
Winston Justice
Levi Brown

As far as the draft is concerned, tackle shouldn’t be the a top their list with their obvious need for a play making safety.
