The Baltimore Ravens are needing to address their obvious need for a right tackle might be looking in the way of Taylor Lewan. Recently it was reported by Kyle Feldscher of the Ann Arbor News that he is scheduled to be in court on April 8th for an assault charge back in December. While the timing isn’t good with Lewan’s preparation for the draft, I wouldn’t think his draft stock will suffer too much from this. It is still being investigated and at this point Lewan has only been charged and not convicted of the crime.

Lewan is one of the top four offensive tackles in the class at this point. According to Dane Brugler of CBS Sports spoke at the combine and stated he didn’t do anything, so as you would suspect teams are aware. Here is what Lewan said exactly.

"I wasn’t in any fight. I was actually breaking something up. Some guy said I slugged him."

Ebony Bird will continue to monitor the situation as it progresses.
