There are a lot of things the Baltimore Ravens can do with the remaining cap space they have, and one option may be to reunite offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak with his old tight end from Houston. Owen Daniels was cut loose by the Texans this free agency and that has some wondering if he could be a cheap fit for the Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens have been fairly quiet during the offseason.
Although they did make a splash by signing veteran wide receiver Steve Smith after he was released by the Carolina Panthers, they have mostly focused on re-signing their own players, like offensive tackle Eugene Monroe.
One position they would like upgrade their depth is at quarterback. They’d like to find a veteran backup for Joe Flacco.

LeGarrette Blount is slated to meet with the Steelers on Sunday night, but Pittsburgh isn’t the only team lurking around the former New England Patriots running back.
Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun reported Friday that the Ravens “also have interest” in the runner and plan to monitor his market as free agency heads into its third week.

Stewart’s best season came in 2011 when he started 13 of 15 games, and showed a knack for making plays. He made 91 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception, which he returned for a 27-yard touchdown against Drew Brees and the Saints.
Ravens Assistant Head Coach and Secondary Coach Steve Spagnuolo was the Rams’ head coach that year and thus saw Stewart first-hand.
Stewart, 25, was officially listed by the Rams as a strong safety, and measures in at 5-foot-11, 214 pounds.
General Manager Ozzie Newsome said he wanted to add an athletic, playmaking safety to pair with last year’s first-round pick Matt Elam. Baltimore would like to move Elam to his natural strong safety position.
