Ravens Remove Xavius Boyd From Injured Reserve

The Ravens removed Xavius Boyd from injured reserve today and waived him.  The undrafted rookie linebacker was just placed on IR last week with a hamstring injury after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

The Ravens signed Boyd to a three year, $1.531 million contract back in May, but have since replaced him with fellow undrafted rookie free agent Nick DiMarco.

Boyd is a former Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the year and should get another look once he is healthy.  The hamsting injury was classified as a simple pull and he should be 100% before too long.
