Preview: Here we go with another Harbaugh Bowl, yet the implications in this one are nowhere near the likes of 2012-13. This game promises to look more like a regular season game than most preseason matchups, however. These two teams are full of pride and equally tough. Expect to see some real, no holds barred action on the field and perhaps some flaring tempers as well.
We only expect to see the starters for two to three series, but both teams have good enough depth to ensure a full game of excellent football. Plus, there are a lot of hardcore roster battles taking place on both teams, so expect some great competition. Gary Kubiak’s new offense gets a tough first test against the ferocious 49ers defense.
Following the game, the 49ers will be staying in Baltimore for three days of practice, so these teams figure to get a lot more acquainted with each other this week.
