Stock up: Brandon Williams
Brandon Williams has been perhaps the biggest surprise this offseason, taking a hold of the starting nose tackle job and proceeding to look like he has always belonged there. Limited by a toe injury in his rookie season last year, Williams played sparingly following his selection in the third round of the 2013 draft.
Williams spent the offseason working on getting in better shape, and the results have been immediate and obvious. Williams has been a load in the center of the line, clogging up running lanes and occupying blockers. He has been outstanding at both, while creating penetration as well. Williams is truly looking like he could anchor the Raven’s defense for years to come.
