The Ravens are heading out for their very first road test this coming Sunday as they face a divisional rival, the Cleveland Browns.  It’s a matchup that the Ravens have historically dominated, winning 9 out of the last 10 games.  The Browns one victory out of the ten came when these two teams last met in Cleveland on November 3rd of last season.

Both teams are coming off big wins in week two.  The Ravens defeated the Steelers at home in a rather dominant fashion, winning 26-6.  The Browns defeated the Saints at home in what proved to be a nail biter of a game that went down to the wire. Still, it was a big win for the Browns against a team that features vastly superior talent on its roster.

Both teams are riding high into this matchup and looking to pull ahead with a winning record as both also lost in week one.  A win for either would help them keep pace with the Bengals, who currently sit atop the AFC North at 2-0.  For the Ravens, it will be the last divisional game until late October, when they face the Bengals for a second time.

While football is a team sport, there are a handful of players whose roles will be critical if the Ravens hope to pull off the win in Cleveland Sunday.  We take a look at these players after the jump, and define why the team’s success hinges on their own, individual performance.
