Welcome to Lunchtime Links, where we round up all the latest Ravens news from around the web for your convenient consumption.  Today we look forward to an increase in snaps for safety Will Hill, round up some Ravens vs. Bengals previews and what to watch for, and do the Ravens need to run the ball more to win?

Sunday’s Game is a Pivotal AFC North Showdown

"The Ravens opened the season at home with their worst game. They were still digging out of the Ray Rice mess when they hosted the Bengals that first week. What happened next was ugly all around.Dropped passes. Missed throws. Time mismanagement. And even when they managed to overcome all of that and get a lead, they somehow let A.J. Green get open deep for a juggling, 77-yard touchdown catch and a 23-16 win that put the Bengals in good shape for another AFC North title."

Ravens Need to Run the Ball More to Win

"The Ravens’ rematch with the Cincinnati Bengals is coming a little soon for my tastes. You aren’t getting the full dramatic effect of a charged-up divisional rivalry when the home-and-home series is completed before Halloween. But the scheduling quirk certainly gives the Ravens a quick shot at redemption. Their season-opening loss to the Bengals remains a fresh memory. Sunday’s rematch amounts to a do-over, a chance for them to right what went wrong that day.I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking they should commit more firmly to running the ball this time around."

Ravens Promote Phillip Supernaw

"The Ravens have swapped out tight ends in advance of Sunday’s game vs. Cincinnati.According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have brought up Phillip Supernaw from the practice squad and waived Ryan Taylor off the roster."

5 Things to Watch at Bengals

"Division titles aren’t decided in Week 8.But Sunday’s game against the Bengals at Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium could go a long way in determining who ends up as the AFC North champion. The Ravens have lost back-to-back games to the Bengals, but Baltimore is hot right now and looking to give themselves some cushion in the standings. Here are some things to watch as the division rivals face off Sunday:"

Does Will Hill’s Role Expand Against Bengals?

"Will Hill looked like the best safety out on the field for the Ravens, and it was his first game for them. He played 22 snaps, which was half of what starting free safety Darian Stewart received. Stewart hasn’t played as poorly in his last three games, but he’s a backup-type player. He’s given up 16 receptions (tied for eighth most among safeties) and he’s missed five tackles, including one in each of his past three games. Hill is an impact player who has the best coverage skills of all of the Ravens’ safeties. I would expect the Ravens to expand Hill’s role each week. It should be a matter of time before he is a starter."
